Dot Notation
The string has
5 positions numbered
1 (left) to
5 (right).
Write each beat as
height.throw-catch
3.15 → height 3, from position 1 to 5
4.31 → height 4, from position 3 to 1
Separate beats with spaces:
3.15 3.13 3.11 3.55 3.35
Shortcuts
4 = 4.15 (bare number defaults to 1→5)
3.15^3 repeats the beat 3 times
(3.15 3.13)^2 repeats a group

u for heights 10–30
Grid Editor
Each row is one beat. Set the height, then tap a dot on the top row for the throw position and bottom row for the catch position. The blue arc shows the throw trajectory. Changes update the simulation instantly.
3D View
Switch to 3D in the
Mode section. Camera presets appear at the top-right:

Drag to orbit around the scene
Right-click drag or Ctrl+drag to pan the camera freely
Scroll to zoom in and out
Try
POV to see the pattern from the juggler’s perspective — useful for learning new tricks.
